Becoming Board Certified

Professional Certification is a voluntary process whereby practitioners demonstrate their expertise by passing a national examination, adhering to a Code of Ethics, and agreeing to obtain ongoing education in the field.

ANCB’s CTN designation is a highly-valued professional credential that reflects a commitment to professional ethics and high standards of practice. To earn this credential, one must pass our national certification examination, and maintaining it requires 10 hours of Continuing Education each year.

ANCB’s CNW credential is designed for practitioners who focus on providing Nutritional Wellness services. To obtain this title, one must pass a national exam, adhere to our Code of Ethics and obtain Continuing Education yearly.

ANCB’s CHC credential is designed for practitioners who focus on providing Health Coaching services. To obtain this title, one must pass a national exam, adhere to our Code of Ethics and obtain Continuing Education yearly.
