Description of Practice
We are a family practice that specializes in integrative and functional medicine focusing on the whole person. We view the body as an interconnected network of systems which communicates with one another to maintain homeostasis. We address the root cause of illness by focusing on factors which are the foundation of health such as nutrition, stress management, relationships, sleep & relaxation, exercise & movement, environment, lifestyle, and genetics.
Dr. Christl is a Traditional Naturopath, Family Nurse Practitioner, Functional Medicine Provider, Public Speaker, and Educator. She studied Alternative Medicine since 1988 and Functional Medicine since 2005. She has earned her PhD in Natural Health and Doctor of Naturopathy from Clayton College of Natural Health, her Bachelor of Nursing at Regis University, and her Master of Nursing at CU Anschutz. She completed numerous hours of post graduate studies in Functional Medicine through the Institute of Functional Medicine, Apex Energetics, and Designs for Health. She is board certified through American Academy of Nurse Practitioners Certification Board (AANPBC), American Naturopathic Certification Board (ANCB), and American Association of Drugless Practitioners (ADP), and is pursuing certification through the Institute of Functional Medicine. Dr. Christl is licensed as a Family Nurse Practitioner with the Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies (DORA). She is a member of The Institute of Functional Medicine, National Association of Nutritional Professionals (NANP), and The American Holistic Nurses Association (AHNA). Description of Practice
Lisa received her teaching degree in 1986 from Abilene Christian University and then married and immediately started a family. She was a stay at home mom for 20yrs raising 2 boys and a girl. She started her Naturopathy practice in 2008 and then went on to get her Applied Clinical Nutrition. During this time she was also learning the Bowen Technique and the use of the EPFX/ Scio machine. Natural health and helping people is her passion.
